We built a complete bilingual e-commerce store for children's toys—from the playful brand to the Stripe checkout. Every page is engineered to turn browsing parents into paying customers, in English and French.
The Challenge
Joucart wanted to sell toys across Canada in both official languages. Off-the-shelf platforms meant monthly fees, transaction cuts, and clunky bilingual support bolted on as an afterthought. They needed a storefront they fully own—fast, playful, and built to convert.
We designed and built a custom Next.js e-commerce platform from scratch: a playful brand kids love and parents trust, a full product catalog with variants and galleries, and a conversion engine—free-shipping progress bars, cart upsells, exit-intent offers, and Stripe-secure checkout—working together on every visit. French isn't a translation plugin; every page, product, and email exists natively in both languages.
