Supreme Modern Stairs
A luxury digital atelier for a bespoke staircase studio—anchored by a real-time 3D hero, an interactive drag-to-rotate configurator, and cinematic motion that lets every surface, material, and curve speak before the client picks up the phone.

The Challenge
Supreme Modern Stairs sells one-of-one staircases that start well into six figures. Static photography on a generic site could not convey the craft, the proportions, or the sheer presence of a helical brass-and-walnut stair. The studio needed a site that behaved like a showroom—something a prospective client could rotate, configure, and feel before ever booking a call.
We built a cinematic one-page experience around a real-time Three.js staircase that lives in the hero, a drag-to-rotate configurator for shape, material, and railing, and a tactile materials wall with close-up swatches of walnut, brass, travertine, and low-iron glass. Every scroll is scored with Framer Motion, every accent is hand-drawn SVG, and the whole thing holds its frame from a 430px phone up to a 4K monitor.

Why the 3D Matters
A six-figure staircase is sold on feel, not features. We wired a real Three.js scene into the hero and the configurator so the client can spin the geometry, swap walnut for oak, flip glass to cable, and watch the stair respond in real time—all without a page reload. Hand-tuned lighting, PBR materials, and orbit controls do the selling the photos never could.

Luxury, Pocket-Sized
The 3D hero and configurator both ship to mobile with touch-driven rotation, condensed typography, and a drawer nav that keeps the serif lockup intact.

Built Like the Stairs It Sells
Every surface was engineered—GPU-accelerated geometry in the hero, orbit-controlled WebGL in the configurator, hand-placed serif lockups, and motion that is quiet enough to feel expensive. The build is one cohesive Next.js app on the edge, fast enough to hold its frame on a phone and rich enough to close a custom commission on a desktop.
“The configurator closes clients before we ever get them on the phone. They arrive at the consultation already in love with a helical in walnut and brass—we just refine the details. The site sells the craft the way a photograph cannot.”
